Robbery Rules Violation

Robbery Rules Violation (RRV) Clarifications. Definition: Robbery Rules Violation is failing to follow the server’s requirements before, during, or immediately after robbing another player. 1. Robbery limits: You may not rob or scam a player for more than $10,000, 5,000 materials, or an equivalent value. The maximum itself is allowed; exceeding it is a violation. 2. Valid roleplay required: A robbery must be properly roleplayed. Simply approaching someone, pointing a weapon, and immediately killing them without giving a reasonable opportunity to respond is not acceptable. 3. Reasonable response time: After giving demands, allow the victim enough time to understand and comply. Do not shoot them instantly because they did not react within a second or two. 4. Clear demands: Commands such as “hands up,” “get out of the car,” or “drop the money” must be understandable. You cannot punish someone for failing to follow unclear or contradictory demands. 5. Complying victims: A player who is actively complying with reasonable robbery demands should not be killed without an additional valid IC reason. 6. No forced withdrawals: You may not force someone to withdraw money from an ATM or bank, transfer funds, sell property, or otherwise bypass the robbery limit. 7. No property forcing: Players cannot be forced to hand over houses, businesses, vehicles, or other major assets unless a specific server rule explicitly permits it. 8. No repeated farming: Repeatedly targeting the same player primarily to take their money or materials is prohibited. 9. No OOC information: Using Discord, streams, name tags, OOC messages, or other OOC information to locate someone for a robbery is metagaming and may also make the robbery invalid. 10. No robbery in protected situations: Players may not exploit safe zones, events, scripted activities, spawn locations, or other server-designated protected areas to conduct robberies. 11. No rule baiting: You cannot intentionally create unreasonable demands or impossible deadlines just to manufacture a reason to kill the victim. 12. After the robbery: Once you have obtained what you are allowed to take, you should continue the situation realistically. Killing the victim simply to prevent them from reporting the robbery is not automatically justified. 13. Robbery does not override other rules: DM, metagaming, powergaming, exploiting, and other server rules still apply during robberies. 14. Group responsibility: Everyone knowingly participating in an illegal robbery can be held responsible for serious rule violations committed as part of that robbery, depending on their involvement. Simple rule: Robbery must have proper RP, clear demands, reasonable time to comply, and stay within the $10,000 / 5,000-material limit. A robbery is not automatic permission to kill the victim.
