Chat Rules
1. IC & OOC Separation Keep In-Character (IC) and Out-of-Character (OOC) communication separate. OOC information must not be used to influence IC situations. 2. No Metagaming Do not share or use IC information through Discord, OOC chat, private messages, streams, or any other OOC source. 3. No Spam or Flooding Repeated messages, commands, advertisements, unnecessary text, or intentionally flooding another player's chat are prohibited. 4. No Excessive Caps Do not excessively type in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. Reasonable use for emphasis or appropriate roleplay is allowed. 5. No OOC Disrespect Harassment, excessive insults, personal attacks, or intentionally provoking another player through OOC chat are prohibited. IC conflicts must remain IC. 6. No Real-Life Threats Threats against another player's real life, including doxxing threats or threats of real-world harm, are strictly prohibited. 7. No Advertising Advertising another SA-MP server, Discord server, roleplay community, or competing gaming community without authorization is prohibited. 8. No Malicious Links Phishing links, malicious downloads, scams, or any other harmful or deceptive links are prohibited. 9. No Impersonation Do not impersonate another player, administrator, staff member, or server representative to deceive others. 10. No Report Abuse Do not spam reports, repeatedly submit the same report, troll staff through reports, or use the report system to insult other players. 11. No Sharing Personal Information Do not expose, publish, or threaten to publish another player's private or personally identifying information without their permission. 12. Respect Staff Situations When an administrator is handling a situation, do not spam, interrupt, intentionally disrupt, or turn the situation into an OOC argument. Administrative decisions can be challenged through the appropriate appeal or complaint process. IMPORTANT Keep IC and OOC separate. Chat should never be used to metagame, spam, harass, advertise, threaten, or intentionally disrupt other players.
